Hello world!

Hello World! indeed.

Today is Saturday March 23rd, 2013 and Welcome to the Open Source Cafe, where information is free, the products are free, and everything we use is free. Open Source is the latest and greatest crave in computer world, and in my opinion the best. In a day and age where everything is sorely over priced, and you have to practically fight (in the working world not like the old days where you could be maimed, or eaten!) to stay alive. Why should you have to pay for every piece of software too!

Sure you’re probably thinking to yourself, or pirate it. But User, that is “stealing”, and that is “wrong”; and I can’t promote that, but I can promote as many free products I can find and compare them to the everyday use paid for applications! I’’ll use write ups for installation, I’’ll keep feedback on use on if it is easier to use, or if it needs or features.

We are just getting started and we are looking for like minded individuals to help establish this web presence and provide assistance to it’s users. If you think you have what it takes, drop me a line and lets get started. I will be providing assistance with Linux, Windows, and mobile platforms like Android and Tizen distributions (soon there will be an Ubuntu mobile OS as well!). Please don’t publicly ask for assistance on the WordPress as it will be harder to explain in full detail and track multiple troubleshooting sites and steps. If an issue is dubbed necessary an admin or moderator will make a post here on the WordPress linking to the steps on the forum.  The forum is in place to archive conversations and troubleshooting steps as well as leaving a space for future solutions. Feel free to take a look around and make sure to hit up the feedback and suggestions box on the forum!
